NAIOP Social in the Pearl
The McBride Capital Team Attends Social at the 1010 Flanders Building
Earlier this week the McBride Capital team spent the afternoon in downtown Portland for a NAIOP Social. It was a beautiful day to visit and tour one of the newly completed renovations in Portland's Pearl District . We were greeted at the door by the Specht Development team, the masterminds behind the 1010 Flanders Building renovation. The building boasts 60,000 square feet of office space, situated in the heart of the Pearl District. We were directed downstairs to see the artwork they had commissioned for the bike locker. The local graffiti artist brought a lot of color and a hip and fun feel to the newly renovated building.
We then made our way to the rooftop deck that boasted a 360 degree view of Portland's skyline. Umbrellas and a slight breeze tempered the afternoon sun and provided an amazing backdrop for catching up with clients, meeting new people, and learning more about what went into the 1010 Flanders Building renovation.
Portland's multifamily sector continues to catch headlines, both positive and negative, but there are great projects around the PMA in the industrial and office space that are also catching the eyes of investors.
