McBride Capital attended HFO’s annual investor round table at Multnomah Athletic Club to listen to guest speakers talk about the economy, succession planning and rental legislation. One speaker in particular, Christian Kaylor from the State of Oregon spoke on the economies of major metropolitan areas and how they compare across the nation.
The City of Portland was near the top of every growth comparison ranging from median household growth to growth of people with college degrees. All good signs for both the commercial and multifamily real estate market as young educated work force continues to flow into metro area demanding housing and higher paying wages.
